On The Issues

The job of District Attorney is to prosecute offenders. The most efficient and effective way to do this is by building and maintaining relationships with local, parish, and state law enforcement. Another key piece of the puzzle is having the trust and respect of the community we serve. I’ll work with all stakeholders to ensure justice is served, dangerous criminals are put away, and our community is safe.

I plan to use my business background to fix ongoing budget issues in the District Attorney’s Office. For the last few years, the District Attorney’s office has been spending more money than they are bringing in. Families in Jefferson Davis must live and operate on a budget, government should as well.

Implementing the appropriate technology will be one of the first things I do in office. As a legal practitioner, I have implemented technology in cost effective and cost saving ways.  It’s time we modernize the office by utilizing programs and tools to save time and money.
